Dark Prince of the Horde's Crown (****)

This black nine spiked diadem is forged with what might be the most powerful thi
ng in the underworld short of the Neverborn, raw bloody vengeance. Those who ral
ly with the exalt, upon whose brow this crown sits, can feel such vengeance thru
mming in their own souls. Beaten into its shape whole cloth, not by a master cra
ftsman or some eldritch power but a mob of ghosts turning on those who have wron
ged them, it is a sight to behold. It has no symmetry, no graceful curves, or ov
er arcing design. Its shape shows the finger marks of those whose bare hands sha
ped it. It cuts into the brow of all who wear it, the user thinks such is the co
st of real power... but they don't know how much deeper the crown cuts than just
the skull.

negative intimacy.

The unit has no need of relays, as each member knows his place in the carnage li
ke each rock knows its place in a landslide.
The well-hidden darkest side of this artifact is not how it turns a town of angr
y peasants into a fighting force to make the tax connecters wish they hired more
mercenaries, but how it corrupts the wearer into naught but an avatar for the r
age and hatred in the mob.
If a magnitude four subset of the unit possess a violent negative intimacy (Hate
, prejudice, etc.) toward something, the exalt also gains a negative intimacy to
ward that thing for the duration of the scene. Should the mob fail to destroy it
s foe, the exalt gains all these intimacies as if having spent sufficient scenes
building them and cannot be gotten rid of without magic for a season.
