Collins RE: Leticia Rachel Lee DATE: April'J,L,201.4 During the spring semester of 2013,1 had the pleasure of having Leticia in my Special Education 457 class at the University of La Verne. This class is an introductory course in which students learn how to meet the needs of exceptional children. Throughout this course ,Leticia showed great insight in reaching the students that she encountered while doing her fieldwork in special education services locations. I can tell Leticia was very eager to share all that she had learned. No doubt she felt that this would be the kind of teaching that she, too, would be able to implement in her own classroom someday. As far as Leticia's work ethic is concerned, Leticia showed that she was very conscientious and very competent. Her examination responses were excellent. Leticia's assignments and fieldwork lessons were exemplary. She displayed a wonderful understanding of students'needs and showed.that she could adapt her lessons accordingly to accommodate those needs. More importantly, Leticia is a team player as her friendly disposition and demeanor were such assets to our collaborative projects conducted in class. I am interested in Leticia's situation and will be happy to provide any further information. Please feel free to contact me if needed. Sincerely, '*'.p..t r I --r ! \_h"rl*\{-; L"r- Mary A.
