Professional Development Goal Reflection

Throughout the semester I have been using the smart board. I have followed
my development goal and learned different aspects of the smartboard program. I
have created multiple lessons using the program. I have used the program to have
students play a game reviewing different hallway behavior. I have used it for
instructions for the students for an egg hunt in the classroom. I have also used the
smartboard for cooking and following recipe in the classroom. I have also used it to
present the reading for the day as well as different activities that goes with the news
to you program. Kim said I used it effectively. It is endless and there are so many
ways to use it and I did a good job of incorporating it in different lessons. Using the
different features in several different ways.
I am now more confident in the use of the smartboard and am now able to
create different lessons that use different aspects of the program. I have used the
board for different activities and determined what activities work best with the
technology and what doesnt. I will be able to use the skills I have learned this
semester in my future classrooms. Understanding how to use a smartboard with a
wide range of activities will be a skill I will need.
