The Second Bridge over the Narmada River in Gujurat, India links Mumbai and Ahmedabad. Built in a record 32 months through a public-private partnership, the bridge consists of 13 spans of 96.2 meters and 4.63 km of approach roads. Using innovative precast segmental construction, the box girders were erected with a purpose-designed launching girder.
