Nozzle Plate

Filling Hole
1. Make a 3mm filling hole in the position shown in the diagram above using the drill bit provided.
2. Assemble the syringe and steel filling tube and fill with ink.
3. Turn the cartridge upside down and SLOWLY inject ink into the filling hole.
IMPORTANT - The cartridge contains a sponge and a slight resistance may be felt.
4. Ink may leak from nozzles. Use a tissue to prevent any spillage.
5. Seal the hole with the plug provided. If the plug seal is not airtight, then secure and
seal plug with strong adhesive tape. This seal MUST be airtight, if not cartridge will leak.
6. Blot nozzles with tissue to remove any excess ink.
IMPORTANT - DO NOT LEAVE TISSUE ON NOZZLES.
7. Leave cartridge to stand on a protective, non-absorbent surface overnight to ensure no leakage.
8. Install cartridge in printer and run a cleaning cycle as per printer instructions.
IMPORTANT: For best results, refill whilst Ink still remains in cartridge.
Empty cartridges should be refilled immediately
