RECIPE
Ingredient Picture
400g of Frozen Chopped Spinach,
Thawed

2 Small Red Tomato

300g Grated Cheddar Cheese

1 Brown Onion

3-4 eggs

100-300g of Thickened Cream

300- 400g of Full Cream Milk

Pinch of Salt

Pinch of pepper

of cup of Olive oil

1 Sheet of Short Crust Pastry Dough

of a Red Capsicum

1 sweet potato

100-300g of baby spinach leaves

Baking sheet x 1 To put on the baking tray, and to place
the pastry on
Sharp Chef knife To slice the vegetables with
Fry Pan To fry the vegetables in
Chopping board To chop the vegetables on
Fork To mix the egg mixture with
23cm Quiche Tin To place the pastry on and to bake the
quiche on
Saucepan/Pot To boil the vegetables in
Mixing Bowl To contain the egg mixture
Oven Mitt To open the oven with
Wooden spoon To stir the vegetables in the fry pan

2 minutes Placing saucepan on stove and boiling
the sweet potato
30 seconds Preheating the oven 180 degrees
Celsius
5 minutes Frying the spinach, tomato and onion
5 minutes Cracking the eggs, and mixing them
with milk, cream, salt and pepper
5 minutes Placing the dough and baking paper
on the quiche tin and smoothening it
out as well as trimming excess dough
2 minutes Spooning the spinach mixture and
cheese onto the dough and pouring
the egg and milk mixture over the top,
and then placing it into oven.
30- 40 minutes Quiche baking in the oven
5 Minutes Dicing capsicum, onion, tomato and
sweet potato
6 minutes Mixing with spinach leaves and beans
and the rest of the salad and
presenting


METHOD
1. Gather all ingredients and utensils
2. Preheat oven to 180 degrees Celsius
3. Place saucepan half-filled with water on stove with sweet potato inside
and boil over medium heat
4. Chop ingredients beforehand, and then put them in the fry pan with the
olive oil to fry.
5. After frying, mix milk, cream, eggs, salt and pepper in mixing bowl and
stir with a fork.
6. Place the baking sheet over the quiche tin and smoothen the pastry
dough on top.
7. Spoon, ingredients from the fry pan onto the dough, sprinkle cheese
with it.
8. Pour the egg mixture on top of the ingredients and put the quiche in the
oven to bake
9. Meanwhile cut up capsicum, tomato, onion, sweet potato and mix with
spinach leaves and microwaved beans.
10. Take out finished quiche and present it with salad
