engage students in a lesson on the power of water
Grande Reserve Elementary School observed the LMS guide students to think critically while
reading picture books making connections to the text
McCarty Elementary School observed the LMS using Type4Fun as a tool to meet district
technology standards in keyboarding
Washington Jr. High observed the LMS present several book talks to promote a love of reading
Yorkville Middle School Observed the LMS while collaborating with volunteers for an upcoming
book fair
Westfield Middle School the LMS introduced the benefits of using Chrome Books in the library
Metea Valley High School learned to use various library office equipment such as a laminator
and wide format printer
Naperville Central High School participated in book repair such as gluing, taping, and pressing
damaged books, in addition to processing hardcover and paperback books
Neuqua Valley High School observed the LMS unveil Blind Date with Books, an interesting
concept for a Valentines Day program where the book is wrapped, hiding the title or cover of a
book, and the student chooses the book based on the summary alone
Yorkville High School Discussed with the LMS the processes of maintaining a working library
media center while under construction

Internship/Student-Teaching
Developed a passion for meeting and shaping the needs of younger students
Proficient using Destiny, Folletts collection management system
Administered the STAR test to measure student growth in reading, in addition to providing an
Accelerated Reader profile for reading level recommendations to promote a successful reading
