AN ACT Amending By-law 212.02.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE ASWSUV SENATE:

Sec. 1. The By-laws currently read:

212.02 The duties of the Senate Finance Committee shall be:
A. Overseeing the administration of ASWSUV's financial matters and interests.
B. To initiate and/or review all supplementary budget and funding requests and
transfers.
C. To periodically review the Budget, Finance and Funding Codes, and offer any
revisions and/or amendments.
D. The President shall appoint an Executive Cabinet member to the committee

Sec. 2. The By-laws shall be amended to read:

E. To educate the Student Body about financial matters in relation to student funds.

STATEMENT OF FACT:
This change is illustrating the fact that most students do not know that there is a Student
Events Pool or where their money is going. This will formally establish an effort to educate the
Student Body about the financial matters of ASWSUV. Since the Finance Committee is in
charge of overseeing these matters, it is only reasonable to have them distribute that information
to the general public.
