Synopsis
Katbah
Shareef Hussian (MC) is a Junior Clerk working in a Government
office wants to rid of depresses lifestyle. He wants a promotion
in his o! so his salary may increase and he could !uy a home
for himself.
"ne day after early leaving from office he visits a ragman shop
which has many old and anti#ue items. $here he founds a Mar!le
piece which looks like as it is taken from Mughal %ingdom.
He purchases that piece and think might !e that prove lucky for
him and he get promotion. &fter getting salary of that month he
engraves his name on that piece that he put in front of his own
home.
'rom that he started to impress their office stuff who is
seniors for him. &fter a month in same routine he found nothing
useful for him this make him sad. His wish to get promotion and
lu(ury life start to vanish and he does not show interest in him
o!.
&fter ) months he gets his dream coming true he gets promotion
for ) months on temporary !asis !ecause his senior get leaves
for ) months. &fter that he gets his interest !ack in his office
work and start to do dou!le work than the owner of that site to
show his hard work and also lose no moment to help other stuff.
He always wishes that his senior never return after ) months or
e(tend his leave or leave that o! so that he gets this
permanently. *ut he is no luckier after ) months when his senior
returns to his o! this made him really sad when he has to move
!ack to his old rank this thing really disappoint him.
"nwards his promotion dream totally out of his mind and he also
loses him temper for his o!.
&fter working for +, years he gets retirement and leaving in his
rental home winter season is on his peak. "ne noon his is out
for work he gets ills from pneumonia. He remains ill for - days
!ut no recovery this leads to death for him.
&fter few months when his son cleaning the room of his father he
founds that mar!le piece this remem!ers him father and he has
some tears in his eye !ut suddenly he gets idea after looking
that he made changes in that engraving and placed that %at!ah on
his grave.
