Ive always been interested in football after my rst
soccer game
Parents told me I played like a football player
Asked to sign up for a team but was put on a dance
team
Always was in front of the t.v watching games
Learned to love the sport, and interested to see how it

Many countries in western Europe play the
game, but it wasnt until 1876 when american
football became a sport
The idea of american football came from the way
William ebb ellis played in a game of soccer.
Walter camp, player and coach for Yale,
developed the early rules of the game
Took many years until the sport became popular
and on January 15,1967 the rst super bowle
occurred,
Football is ranked 5th most dangerous sport

How does it Relate to Geometry
The eld is a rectangle and is made up of 90 degrease angles and rectangles
The end zones of the eld are rectangles and are very important in the game
Its important that the end zones measurements are the same other wise it could be an
advantage for the other team

relates to math because geometry is present in math and area and perimeter take a big role
in geometry. An american football eld's measurements have to be precise and the area of
the professional elds all have to have the same area and perimeter
I learned geometry isnt just present on a math worksheet it can be found anywhere
