Reflection on the year

This year I have learned how to really support a topic. The second paragraph of
the timed writing essay shows how I improved in supporting my topics.
My weaknesses coming into the year were topic sentence, thesis, and closing
paragraphs.
I learned how to create a topic sentence without restating the prompt. The topic
sentence of my choice essay is a prime example of improvement.
I really had to work on how I worded and wrote my thesis statements. At first I
didnt have one at all, but as the year went on they started developing. If you look
at the last sentence of the first paragraph of my timed writing essay, the thesis is
crisp and right on point.
Ive grown a lot this year due to my great teacher Mrs. Vuono.
