This source gave me an insight as to King's influence on the movement and other people
who contributed to the movement. I could see the resemblances to King and his policies
but also the differences. Many of groups such as ones led by Stokely Carmichael started
off with the same beliefs as King but later strayed as they became impatient with the
results.

I analyzed this source looking for information on the influences in King's life that shaped

The fact that King was arrested demonstrates a lot about society at the time and the
conditions for black people. The experience of being arrested gives King motivation for
