REFERENCE LETTER FOR

TRISTEN SCOTT
It is my great pleasure to write this letter of recommendation for Tristen Scott.
Tristen is currently finishing up her yearlong student teaching with us here at
Pioneer Valley Regional School. She has been teaching 11th grade English.
Here at Pioneer, all of our classes are heterogeneously grouped, which at times
can be challenging. However, throughout this year Tristen has learned a number
of strategies involving classroom management and differentiation, which has led
to a very positive and productive learning environment.
Since day one here she has been a pleasure to work with. She is very
approachable and never hesitates to approach me and ask questions. I see her
as a lifelong learning who will continuously be working to better her teaching.
Tristen has gained the respect of her students. This is evident, as I have
observed her both in and out of the classroom and has a great connection with
her students. She has gone above and beyond here as evidenced by her
willingness to help with extracurricular activities like our middle school teen night.
I highly recommend Tristen for any teaching position she is qualified for. She has
proven herself here and I am confident that she will be a great teacher of our
youth for many years.
