Study of Legal Logic is study of the techniques of
creating law. The new perspective now is that you should
combine with application. Law is nothing if its not
applied. Law is there because it addresses problems
which can be shared collectively or common with a
certain group. In applying law, laeyers should know how
to thin klike lawyers and logical (Syllogism)
Syllogism : Major Premise : state rule or law
Minor premise state fact
Maj P + Min P = CONCLUSION
Given major and minor premises are true, then
conclusion is also true.
Ex.
All cats are mammals. Some mmals are excellent
swimmers. Therefore, some cats are excellent swimmers.
A: Invalid. Although theres possibility, it can nevere
follow that some cats are excellent swimmers.
