mechanical stability of concentrated latices using the
high-speedstirringtechnique. Complies withthe ASTM
Test Methods D1076 and D1417.

The CSI-3 is for tabletop use.
It features a wide base and
support frame for the spindle-
drive assembly. The controls
for the operation of the tester
are located in front of the in-
strument for ease of use.
The pyrex cup is held cen-
tered about the high speed
stirrer by means of a spring
loaded holder. Pull down on
the knob of the holder and
swing away the cup to install
or remove the test material.
The apparatus has a built-in
time-down timer. Automati-
cally shuts off the spindle at
a preset time limit.
