Moral Purpose For Leading
All students can learn, some just learn
differently. I want to have the commitment to
make a positive difference in the lives and
outcomes of all students as a result of their
experiences at school.
Work toward this goal by being passionate,
authentic, credible, and ethical.
Forming relationships that are built on listening,
trust, and integrity.
Personal Mission
Statement
It is my mission to provide all students with a
high quality education in a safe and orderly
environment, supported by the partnerships of
school, home and community, that will instill the
knowledge, skills and values necessary for all
students to fulfill their full potential and to
become contributing citizens of our ever-
changing global society.

Personal Beliefs about Teaching and
Learning
Research shows that the single most important factor in student
achievement is the classroom teacher.
Effective teaching requires effective planning.
For todays students to survive in our rapidly changing world, it is
important that they be challenged to achieve academic excellence
by applying rigorous knowledge to unpredictable, real-world
situations.
Making learning relevant allows students to take ownership over
what they are learning and is instrumental in motivating them to
learn.
I personally feel building relationships with students is one of the
most underrated, but most important, elements necessary for
students to succeed. It is important for students to feel connected,
have trust, and be encouraged by their teachers and principal.

Summary of leadership
style
I believe for me to ultimately be successful I will
need to seek out and find ways to utilize all of you to
the best of your individual abilities. In my past role
as a head wrestling coach I was able to surround
myself with quality people, find their strengths, and
put them in roles where they could be successful
and help us reach our common goal. Together we
were able to turn a losing program into one of the
best in the state of Iowa. I feel I can attack this role
as an educational leader with the same tenacity,
desire, and dedication that will help our school
become recognized as one of the best in
educational excellence.
