I helped my teammate with the idiosyncrasies of I-Respond. She was having trouble getting hers to work so
she came to me for trouble shooting. I was able to get her students to input the benchmark data by sharing the
hand held devices. I was able to use what I knew about the hardware and assist her deal with the stress of I-
Respond. We do not use this hardware very often as it is so difficult to use. The impact of this field
experience was that now my colleague is aware how to utilize I-Respond with the available hardware. Now
her data has been inputted allowing for analysis of her students achievement.

I attended two trainings this semester. The first one was on how to use a Promethean Active Table that we
won. The second one was how to integrate the use of i-Pads with our curriculum. I now know how to
implement technology-based professional learning that aligns to state and national professional learning
standards. I can integrate technology to support face-to-face components which promotes best practices in
teaching and assessment. My students love to use the table. I am looking forward to integrating the technology
via the use of the i-Pads in my flipped classroom. The students use the i-Pads in the technology rotation so I
am looking forward to allow them continued growth next year. This experience can be assessed by their
future usage. Integrating technology based on research should increase student achievement as hopefully
shown in the increase of state assessment scores.

I modeled and facilitate the effective use of digital tools and resources to systematically collect and analyze
student achievement data. I helped my teammates input their data into Excel spreadsheets. They were
having trouble getting theirs to work. We worked together on inputting percentages as well as grades (1, 2,
and 3) for our math and English language arts benchmarks. We also worked together by calling out the data.
I was able to use what I knew about the hardware and assist them with the changes of how the grades were
inputted. It made a very tedious task much easier to deal with as we did it together. The impact of this field
experience was creating an easier administrative task for all of my teammates. Hopefully, they will be able to
import their data without difficulty next time.

My team collaboratively plans for our weekly lessons. My responsibility was to plan for math. I was able to
use my knowledge of instructional technology to integrate it into the math lesson plans. I utilized Smartboard
technology and created many mini lessons for my team to use. I also utilized as well as modeled many of the
programs our school has (Graph Club, Kidspiration, as well as various math websites) for use in learning
stations. My team, as well as the students, was very excited to use these lessons. I feel the students were able
to grasp the standards as they were givien many lessons based on many different learning styles. The impact
of this field experience should be seen in the integration of technology in future lesson plans of the third grade
team, regardless if I am on it or not. As research has shown, this should impact student achievement as seen
through increases of student performance on district and state assessments.

My teammates and I worked together on ways to integrate technology. I modeled and facilitated the use of
research-based, learner-centered strategies addressing the diversity of all students. I assisted them on the use
of the tools for implementation of technology-enhanced learning experiences aligned with student
content standards and student technology standards. I illustrated how it could benefit our learners. I came to
the team meetings and collaborative planning with knowledge to come up with the best strategies to aid our
students. I feel this enabled my team to relieve some stress related to the work load and change their attitudes
about using certain tools. I also modeled and facilitated the safe, healthy, legal, and ethical uses of digital
information and technologies in order to avoid any adversity. This field experience impacted student learning
in that I gave my teammates feedback in order to create a successful lesson plan or idea. This impact was
assessed with the success of the lessons and student learning.
