QU ES EL PRESENTE PERFECTO PROGRESIVO EN INGLS?
El presente perfecto progresivo en ingls o tambin conocido como
presente perfecto continuo, es una forma verbal que nos ayuda a
destacar una accin que ha comenzado en el pasado y ha seguido
ocurriendo hasta llegar al presente.

Con esta forma verbal lo que ms nos importa es la accin en si misma
ms que el resultado, por lo tanto no se precisa si la accin ha finalizado
o no. Por ejemplo:

Carl has been reading this blog for 10 minutes
Carl ha estado leyendo este blog por 10 minutos

I have been studing english for 5 years
Yo he estado estudiando ingles por 5 aos

El Present Perfect Simple y el Present Perfect Progressive (o Continuous) tienen en
comn el hecho de que los dos hacen referencia a una situacin que tiene un vnculo con
el presente. Esta es una de las caractersticas del Present Perfect en general,tal y como
comentabamos en el post Cuando usar Present Perfect o Past Simple. En el caso
del Present Perfect Progressive (o lo que es lo mismo: del Perfect Continuous) la
naturaleza del vnculo con el presente se ve modificada por la presencia de la marca del
progresivo.
El progresivo, indiferentemente de si estamos hablando del presente, del pasado o del
futuro, indica que una situacin est en curso, es decir que ha empezado y todava no ha
llegado a su fin.
La forma del Present Perfect Progressive: HAVE / HAS BEEN + Ving
Afirmativo:
I have been studying for 2 hours this afternoon.
He has been working in this company since 2000.
Interrogativo:
Have you been studying for a long time?
Has he been working here for a long time?
Negativo:
No, I havent been studying for a long time.
No, he hasnt been working here for a long time
I plan my weekend ahead. (Planeo el fin de semana que viene)
I have been planning my weekend ahead. (He estado planeando el fin de semana que
viene)
For the negative form we use "not" after the verb "to have". Eg:
I have not (haven't) been baking a cake but I have been baking a pie. (No he estado
haciendo un pastel sino una empanada)
She has not (hasn't) been watching television. (Ella no ha estado viendo la televisin)
For the interrogative form we place the verb "to have" in front of the person. Eg:
Have you been playing tennis? (Has estado jugando al tennis?)
Has she been listening to the radio? (Ha estado (ella) escuchando la radio?)
