The mean estimate of ratings for the lips trial was 4.40 (SD = 1.40), whereas the mean estimate of the
teeth trial was 3.76 (SD = 1.50). The difference between mean ratings on the lips and teeth trial were not
found to be statistically significant using an independent-samples t-test, t(78) = 1.919, p >.05, indicating
that there is no significant difference between facial lips and teeth for facial stimulation.
