Plant Operator-Cayman Brac

The postholder will be perform a variety of tasks relating to the operation,
maintenance and repair of the Water Authoritys Reverse Osmosis (RO) plant, post-
treatment system, reservoirs and the water distribution pumping station in Cay-
man Brac.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
A High School Diploma with exam passes in math and English. An Associate
Degree in an engineering related field is preferred;
At least three (3) years experience working with RO plants with production
capacity exceeding 500m
3
/day (0.3 mgd);
A current Class II Water Treatment Plant Operator Certification issued by the
Association of Boards of Certification (ABC) or equivalent;
Knowledge and experience in the proper use, maintenance and repair of
mechanical and electrical equipment and tools relating to pumping and treat-
ment systems and RO plants;
Proficiency in the use of personal computers for various business applications;
The ability to lift moderately heavy loads, climb ladders & access tight spaces;
A current Cayman Islands Group 2 Drivers License and a clean driving record.

range for this post is US$40,120 $55,200 per annum.
