Safety In Hanger!!!

Safety is an essantial part for working in hangers. To accomplish the tasks

without harming the personel,others,aircraft and equipments. There are many steps
for safety around aircraft s, some of those are as following ,
a) Know safety rules and precautions
b) Develop a safety concept as a professional
c) Practice safety rules and precautions as a part of professional safety

Safety regulations in a hanger must be known by everybody working in the
hanger. Safety instructions will be given during and after training, such as
Chiseling,Grinding,drilling Etc. Harmful and dangerous processes, contents or
areas are marked by signs, which may contain written information or symbols.

Some of the general safety rules in hanger are as following
a) Be safety conscious
b) Be careful when lifting and moving components. Some objects not
extremely heavy, can be cumbersome and hard to grasp. Get help.
c) Use your legs for lifting. Never use your back.
d) Use a hoist for heavy objects.
e) Ware eye protection when operating machinery.
f) Rotating turbine components can act like shears. Gear can grins a rag of
powder.
g) If you not sure hoe to use or apply tools then get instructions before using.
h) Follow AMM procedures to avoid damage to equipment and personnel.
i) Completely remove safety wire rather than just the end you neel loose.
j) Use sound protection when near operating engines.
k) Clean up spills immidiately.
l) Take note of aircraft movement.
m) Never smoke, eat or drink in the working area.
n) Report anything that you feel is unsafe.

Above mention the right standard practice is compulsory
to cut down the dangerous accidents. As safety is the key inaviation
industry. Any carelessnesss or damage could lead to loss of precious
aircraft and priceless human life.
