Members of the Teacher Education Program at the College of Southern Idaho seek to gather your perceptions of your learning upon

How can we improve this objective in the Education Program?
I thought this was a very good class and was satisfied with the course and the textbook used. The instructor I had
was knowledgeable and presented valuable information.

I was lucky as I am already employed full time as a special education paraprofessional so I was able to do my field
study while working.

How can we improve this objective in the Education Program?
This was very interesting material and while I already am employed full time in a school and experience the impacts
of these interactions I wish there was more course material on how to navigate parents, particularly in the special
education area.

How can we improve this objective in the Education Program?
This was a great course and I learned so much. The paper for this class really helped me focus on the human
development and individual development aspect which helped me work better with the particular student I chose for
my project. I think I did better using a student from work than one of my own children. Removing the emotional
connection makes for better application I think.

How can we improve this objective in the Education Program?

This was one of my toughest courses due to my age I think! But I loved it and there was so much content. I learned
some really valuable information that I was able to immediately apply at work. I also had other teachers and
parapros asking me how I learned different things so that gave me an edge in the work arena. Keep doing what you
are doing here. Instructor was great, very curious and supportive.

6. Having completed this program, I was able to create a portfolio demonstrating my understanding of the International
Society for Technology in Education (ISTE) standards.

How can we improve this objective in the Education Program?
I almost felt disjointed with my portfolio as I had several different instructors and the portfolio expectations were
different between all of them. Some extra time addressing technological portfolio building would be helpful as well
as making the expectations consistent between instructors.

12. Why did you enroll in the CSI Teacher Education Program?
I was already employed as a special education paraprofessional and desired to have more impact and also wanted to
accomplish completing that degree.

13. How did you hear about the CSI Teacher Education Program?
I had colleagues who had attended some CSI education courses.

14. Your suggestions are valuable to us. How do you suggest that we recruit future students?
Well I was an online student so from that perspective I think you have all done a great job translating from classroom to
computer. I think more people would be interested if they knew they could complete most of the courses online so
advertising that would attract more students like me.
