Adderol (Dextroamphetamine sulfate)

SIDE EFFECTS:
Insomnia
Mood changes
Weight loss
Anorexia
Tachycardia
Decrease in growth & development
Physical tolerance can occur

**With Dexedrine & Cylert there is a delayed


affect, take 2-3 wks to work. These are used with
older children.**

Conduct Disorders

Tegretol Tegretol & Depakote are used


(Carbamazepine) for controlling anger.

These will be given in low doses


to alcoholics on a regular basis.

Will need wkly blood test initially to
monitor liver functions
SE: N&V, diarrhea, GI irritation
