Under cooperative teacher supervision designed and implemented seven weeks
of school curriculum for all elementary subjects.
Developed science unit on focusing on life cycles which introduced students to
the hatching of chicks, from incubation, to hatching to initial growth period.
Students tracked, weighed, measured, and cared for eggs and chicks.
Developed a math unit focused on coins and money: students engaged in
activities that enabled them to earn a pay check that could be spent at a
classroom store or saved for future purchases. Involved selecting coins, and
adding and subtracting money.
Integrated classroom store with behavior management program.
Created writing process unit, introducing a grade appropriate method of
brainstorming, drafting, writing, proofreading and publishing.
