Pamphlets and brochures on diets and exercise for Osteoarthritis, as well as the medications. I
would make sure the patient would know how many times a day to take the medicines and how
much to take at one time and give them printed out instructions to back up and remind them how
to take their medicines diets and an exercise sheet . I would go over all of the information and
answer any questions the patients might have. I would explain that the medicine was to help
relieve the pain, swelling and other discomforts due to osteoarthritis since there is not any cure. I
would also discuss with the patient, about dieting and explain that diet is a good way of taking
some of the weight of the hips and knee joints and may relieve some of the pain caused by access
pressure from the weight and exercise is a way of keeping the joints moving. I would go over
some exercises that I would give her as well as diet plans one last time.
