Girl Rising is both a feature lm and a global action campaign for girls
education. The campaign has embraced three goals: share her story, invest
in her, stand with her. By joining Girl Rising for International Day of the Girl,
you are bringing us closer to meeting those goals because you represent
the movement. You ARE Girl Rising.
Its time to spread the word about the power of girls education to transform
lives, communities, nations and the world. The more you share, the more
you help push girls to the top of the global priority list for philanthropists,
policy makers, nonprot organizations and individuals. Thats standing with

#WeAreGirlRising puts the faces of the movement on
display. Are you a teenage girl from Tanzania? A middle-aged man from
Mexico? Grandmother from Great Britain? Book Club from Brussels? Scout
Troop from Singapore? This is your chance to publicly demonstrate that you
and lots of other people like you - and unlike you - are passionate about
educating girls. Showing our faces shows our numbers, our strength and
our diversity, and exhibits public demand for girls education, which puts
pressure on policy makers, activists, and others to make it a priority.
HOW TO USE #WeAreGirlRising photo placards
1. Print out the placard.
2. Fill in your name or the name of a group you represent.
3. Take a photo or video of yourself/your group holding the placard.
4. Share on social media, making sure to use the hashtag #WeAreGirlRising.
