Precipitation and solubility

When 2 solutions with dissolved ions come together the ions are able to mix and contact the other
ions(swapping partners). Sometime new compounds are formed and these new combination may or
may not be soluble. We can use precipitation rules to determine which ions will form
solids(Precipitates) and which ions remain dissolved in solution.
