First, gather your ear cleaning supplies, your pet and some of your pets favorite treats in a room with
cleanable surfaces such as a small bathroom.

First, gather your ear cleaning supplies, your pet and some of your pets favorite treats in a room with
cleanable surfaces such as a small bathroom.

STEP 1
Flip back the flap
(pinna) of the ear
of your pet.
STEP 2
Pour the cleaning
solution provided by
your veterinarian down
into the ear canal as
shown until you see the
solution reach the top
of the ear canal. This
should be just before
the solution spills out of
the ear.
STEP 3
Put the flap (pinna) of the
ear back to its original
position.

Massage your pets ear at
the backside of the base of
the flap (pinna) for 30
seconds.
STEP 4
When finished massaging,
your pet might shake their
head repeatedly. This motion
will eject material from the
ear.
Wipe out the ear using soft
material such as a reusable,
soft cotton towel or rag (no
terrycloth, it irritates). DO
NOT use cotton swabs or
stick anything inside the ear.
