Campus Administrative Team -
Subcommittee
Campus Administrative Team

The campus administrative team will form a subcommittee of teachers, students,
parents, and business leaders to help them address the vulnerability assessment
results

The subcommittee will work on those items that pertain directly to campus
operations, such as staff duty stations and performing emergency drills. This
subcommittee will also train staff on emergency drill procedures, locations, and
evacuation routes and maps.
MISD Police Department -
Subcommittee
MISD Police Department

The MISD Chief of police will head this subcommittee to address the items on the
vulnerability assessment that pertain to the police. Student resource officers,
parents, and business leaders will all be part of the subcommittee to advise the
chief of police on how to proceed. Technology department staff are part of the
committee since the secured access is under the umbrella of the police

The subcommittee will be charged with determining the adequacy of the number
of officers that are currently employed. They will also visit officer duties and
responsibilities, and identify training opportunities.
Director Of Maintenance -
Subcommittee
Director of Maintenance

This subcommittee will address the areas of the vulnerability assessment that
relate to maintenance issues.

The subcommittee consists of the leaders for the different trades, technology
department staff to support technology infrastructure, parents and business
leaders to obtain stakeholder perception. Their main concern will be to make sure
the security camera system is operational.
Director of Operations - Subcommittee
Director of Operations

This subcommittee will identify and propose solutions to areas of the vulnerability
assessment that relate to the operations of the district as a whole.

The subcommittee make-up has the most members because it is the most far reaching and
possibly most important task. This subcommittee is charged with ensuring that the
Emergency Operations Plan (EOP) is fully though out, and includes all of the areas that
the vulnerability assessment identifies. Training will need to take place for everyone in
the district so that the EOP can be carried out by every adult in the district.
Financial plan to address issues

" Need of 1 officer @ approx. $60,000
! Staff training is needed on the EOP, NIMS, and ICS
! 60 teachers X $100 = $6,000
! To be paid for from Campus Budget
! Updates to the EOP will be completed by the Director of
Operations and the committee that he forms to address the
areas of need found in the Assessment
! Approximately $100,000 will be needed to update the
camera system to assessment standards
! This can be funded as part of the 2011 bond, with School Board
approval
