Abstract
The analysis of condition of the CIS international highways revealed, that
they did not comply with the up-to-date requirements. The authors come
to a conclusion, that it is necessary to harmonize the CIS standards and
the European ones. One of the main problems is the passing of haulers with
the axle load more than 11,5 t (up to 13 t). The article contents the basic
trends for the support of failure-free operation, uniformity of regulations for
intermaintenance periods, state improvement and futher development of
highways.
Keywords
Axle load, design norms, geometries, international highways, national
transport infrastructure.

Abstract
The article presents the energy aspect of some geoecological processes,
which underlie the detoxification of lithosphere from heavy metal ions in
transport construction. The paper shows the approximate level of energy,
which can be released in reactions with the known materials (e.g. cement or
clay-containing materials) and which can decontaminate pollutants.
Keywords
Building, cement, detoxification, energy, geoecoprotection, heavy metal ions,
thermodynamics, transport.
