Student Behavior Plan

Students are to follow the level system as their behavior plan to reduce
inappropriate behaviors and increase positive change. This plan is followed in the E.I.
room, general ed. classrooms, during specials, lunch/recess, and other times the
students are present in the school environment.

Level System Facts

9:30 A.M. is the only time students can move up one level during the day
If the student moves down before 9:30 A.M. they will remain there, no move-ups
Students can move down levels multiple times daily
If a student drops to level 1 they are to exit their location and go to the E.I. room
(108 A)
If the student refused to leave call 8058 first
If you do not get ahold of 8058 then dial 0 to contact the office for help
Students are to work for 1 hour or complete a compliance task in the E.I. room
Once the task or hour is completed the student will move to level 2 and return to
class
Students may remain in the E.I. room longer if their behaviors and/or mood are
not appropriate for general ed.
Level system activities are for the last 20 minutes of the day in 108A, only if
students are on track

Level drops: A students behavior is what drives their level to drop. Adult staff
members are there to reinforce the level system, giving warning and informing them
their level has dropped due to their behavior choices. A warning must be given first,
then the student will be dropped a level if the behavior continues. Automatic level 1
drops are for behaviors listed on the following page; automatic level 1 drops do not
need warnings.

Level 2 NO Electronics on LEVEL 2
1. Participate in General Education
-Field Trips are only for Level 3 & 4
2. Participate in indoor/outdoor recess with peers
3. Eat lunch in the lunchroom
4. Use puzzles in 108A
5. Read books in 108A
6. Drawing on paper only
LEVEL 3
1. Receive all privileges at Level 2
2. Participate in all field trips
3. May use Legos in the 108A
4. May use classroom computers
and iTouch
5. Drawing on the whiteboard with
markers
6. Shop in School Store on Friday
7. Earn 1 point per day 20 stickers
earn A Special Lunch- See
Calendar
Level 4
1. Receive all privileges at Levels 2 and 3
2. May use I-pad in 108A
3. May have special treat (when available)
4. May shop in 108A store on Friday
5. Earn 2 point per day 20 stickers earn a special lunch
6. May use the Wii once per week (day determined by teacher)
