2. Fill in Team SMART Goal-Setting Plan worksheet This information will be
modified/finalized during the November in-service.

3. Create a 5-10 minute presentation for the remaining teachers at your grade level
to be shared during the November in-service.
Presentation should include:
1. Identified Weaknesses
2. Tentative Goals
3. Course of Action
4. Timeline
5. Outcome/Evidence

The purpose of the presentation is to take the information back to all teachers of
each grade and then collectively agree on goals, course of action, timeline, and
outcomes.




Reading the Data

MCA Data:
1. The scale score number is three digits, the first digit is the grade, and the last two
digits are the score. Any number above 50 means that student met the standard.

2. The strand scores are based on a scale of 1-10. 5s would be average.

PLAN Data:
1. Composite score is based on a scale of 1-32(Overall and in each category: English,
Math, Reading, Science)

2. Subscores are based on a scale of 1-16

3. College Readiness benchmark scores are:
English 15
Mathematics 19
Reading 17
Science 21

ACT Data:
1. Composite score is based on a scale of 1-36(Overall and in each category: English,
Math, Reading, Science)

2. The subscores are based on a scale of 1-18

3. College Readiness benchmark scores are:
English 18
Mathematics 22
Reading 21
Science 24
