A new service kit, including 6 cylinder liner kits, (high flow) coolant pump, shim for
thermostat housing and label/instruction is now available in a service kit p/n 20531592.
These cylinder liner kits, which also are available in single unit (p/n 20509930), are
equipped with the two piece-/ articulated pistons.
The shim (ref. to FST 26-104/3) needs to be used on engines with lower serial number
than: D12x-317266-A.
High flow coolant pump needs to be used on engines with lower serial number than:
D12x-308162-A.
(Identification: Low flow coolant pump have brown impeller,high flow have white).
D12C, D12C Mark 3, D12D, equipped with aluminium piston:
If all 6 cylinder liner kits are planned to be changed, we strongly re- commend to switch
over to the service kit above with articulated -/ /two piece pistons.

Due to higher coolant pressure with the new coolant pump, see also FST 87-110.
Service Bulletin 213-42 with additional info have been sent out.
If an engine will be overhauled due to to high oil consumption, where there is any form of
warranty claim, Service Bulletin 200-236 must be followed. Concerns D12C.
