Objective
The clinical experience I have gained through nursing has given me the confidence and drive to seek out new
challenges in my career. I am personable, enthusiastic, driven and believe that these qualities along with the
ability to gain the trust and respect of patients and medical professionals make me a successful CEP nurse at
University of Colorado Hospital.
Experience
Staff Nurse, Cardiac Electrophysiology, University of Colorado Hospital; Aurora, CO August 2012- Present
Provide nursing care to a diverse patient population needing EP diagnosis and interventions. Provide patient
education on procedures, new implants, and post procedure care. Gained skills necessary to safely administer
conscious sedation. Precept new hires and fill in as relief charge nurse. Teach the device class to new
graduate RNs and new hires.
Assistant Nurse Manager, Littleton Adventist Hospital; Littleton, CO November 2010- August 2012
Supervised 13 staff members as well as a team leader for the daily staff on a busy 24-bed Telemetry unit. While
part of the management team, I also have strong clinical skills, perform patient care and am a resource for the
staff. Focus is on safe patient care and patient satisfaction. Promote positive work environment, support staff,
and encourage education and evidence-based practices. Perform performance reviews and coaching to
staff when needed. Earned my Board Certification in Cardiac Vascular Nursing through ANCC.

Worked in the float pool, chest pain center/telemetry unit. Focused on the nursing process in patient care,
including assessment, treatment and education for patients with diverse medical conditions. Gained valuable
cardiac experience and earned ACLS certification.

Contract nurse to many of the metro Denver area hospitals. Gained experience working in diverse
environments. I developed strong interpersonal and communication skills from working with different teams.
