Albuquerque, New Mexico NATIONAL APOSTOLIC CATHOLIC CHURCH
About We Are a community of faith. We strive to worship the Lord more fully through the sacraments, recognize God more clearly in all people and serve Him. .
Mission A Church That Cares For All Of Its Members not only those who belong to a parish/Mission, but for those whose membership is less clearly defined; for those less fortunate who do not have families or other relatives to care for them, by supporting various agencies or organizations which perform works of Christian service.
Description We live a full Catholic life in the Sacred Scripture, traditions, practices and sacraments of our Faith. We seek to share these with all who desire to come to a knowledge of Our Lord and His Church. While living a traditional expression of the Catholic Faith, we are cognizant of the fact that we live in the 21st century and must not allow our faith or ourselves to become antiquated, or relics of a bygone era, or simply museum pieces. Thus we make our appeal to men, women and children of today... ...to come and discover the richness of our Catholic heritage; ...to join us and to live that Faith and heritage today as truly and zealously as did Catholics for nearly 20 centuries since the first Christians walked and talked with Jesus in the streets, towns and fields of Israel, Judea, Palestine and Jerusalem; ...to experience the joy of a renewed commitment to Jesus Christ, a life lived in union with Him, nourished by Him, sustained by Him, fortified by Him, and shared with all who would know the same joy and fulfillment in their own lives. Come and be a part of our Catholic family...join with us in prayer, worship, study, ministry and service to the world. Become a part of our journey with Christ. Unlike the inn at Bethlehem on that first Christmas night, you will find that there is ALWAYS room for you here with us. You will always have a place...in fact it is waiting for you... right now! We extend to you the invitation of our Lord Christ Jesus... "Come unto me, all ye that travail and are heavy laden, and I will refresh you." Matt. 11. 28.
Validity
If the Roman Catholic Church is your source of truth in these matters, see what the Roman Catholic Church teaches in its official document "DOMINUS IESUS," issued during the reign of Pope John Paul II, June 16, 2000, and signed by Joseph Cardinal Ratzinger, now Pope Benedict, August 6, 2000, refer to Section IV: Article 17:
"Therefore, there exists a single Church of Christ*, which subsists in the [Roman] Catholic Church, governed by the Successor of Peter and by the Bishops in communion with him.
The Churches which, while not existing in perfect communion with the [Roman] Catholic Church, remain united to her by means of the closest bonds, that is, by apostolic succession and a valid Eucharist, are true particular Churches 59. Therefore, the Church of Christ is present and operative also in these Churches, even though they lack full communion with the [Roman] Catholic Church, since we do accept the [Roman] Catholic doctrine of the Primacy, which, according to the will of God, the Bishop of Rome objectively has and exercises over the entire Church."
