-ING/ED ADJECTIVES

There are many adjectives ending in ing and ed. For example, boring and bored. Lets
have a look at this situation:
Tom has been doing the same job for a very long time. Every day he does exactly
the same thing again and again. He doesnt enjoy it anymore and would like to do
something different.
Toms job is boring. Tom is bored (with his job).

-ING adjectives describe the object or person that has an effect on the speaker.
Example: This programme is interesting.
My job is tiring.
The film was disappointing.
-ED adjectives describe our feelings about something or someone.
Example: I am interested in this programme.
Im always tired when I finish work.
I was disappointed with the film. I expected it to be much better.











Choose the correct word:
