her: Perhaps you are from the masft? She said: And what is al-masft, O RaslAllh? He said: A woman who, when her husband calls her for some need, continues to
delay him until her husband dozes off and falls asleep. Then the angels continue to curse

May Allh have mercy on the servant who acts well in what is between him and his wife [8],
has made him own her by the forelock and has made him a custodian over for Allh

The best of you is the best of you to his women and I am the best of you all towards my women.

Isq b. `Ammr asked Ab `Abdillh 4526 about the right of the woman on
:her husband. He said

He feeds her (stomach), clothes her (body) and if she acts ignorantly [lit. she is ignorant],
he forgives her.

Ibrhm 4527 the khall (close friend) of the Beneficent, complained to Allh ,
about Srahs nature. So Allh :revealed to him

The similitude of the woman is as the similitude of the rib. If you [try to] straighten it, it will break
and if you leave it, you will benefit from it. I [the narrator] said: Who said this? He was furious;
then he said: This, by Allh, is the saying of the Messenger of Allh .
