Why Teenagers do Drugs
In todays world many people abuse drugs, and the main reason is because they think
that, when they do drugs they think that is good for their body. Many people think when they
smoke marijuana they become smarter. Because marijuana have something to do with their
brain. In fact that is not truth because drug use brings more problems to them, and realty the only
thing they want to do is distract themselves from reality when they do drugs. And today society
there is a lot of youth teenagers they are doing more drug the adults. And people may ask
themselves why American teenagers do more drugs the adults.
According to author Lopez, since 1992 illegal drug use among teenagers and adults has
going up, because there are sixty million teenagers in the U.S.A they are using all kinds of drugs,
and that have become a huge problem in the United States of America. There are so many
teenagers that are using drugs the country does not know how to stop the huge problem. One of
the many reason the teenagers use drugs is because their pares do drugs, so they start using drug
at early age. And their pares did not tell them that it was wrong do drugs. And now day are
several teenagers the they only work just to go buy drugs, because they are so addicted the they
only think to go and use so drugs. Because there are a lot American teenagers are addicted to
marijuana and cocaine these two drugs are the most the teenagers use in this days. Where our
teenagers get this drug? They can get it in the steers, in night clubs and in high school. There are
a lot place the our teenagers are getting the drugs and no one is doing anything to stop this,

because they are a lot parents the do not even care about their sons. And that is so sad because
we are losing our next generation. Parents need to start taking care more of their sons, Teaching
them the drugs are nothing good for them.
The effect of this drugs have is really dangerous, because they are many teenagers the are
death for an over dose. And is really sad when we see in the news when a teenager dies for an
over dose. And the happen almost every day al around the country and what we do nothing,
because this society is so selfish the we do not care about somebody else we only care about ours
self. Teenagers are doing so much drugs that they are falling class in school getting fired in their
jobs, because they are not fully concentrate and what they are doing. Because the only thing the
they want to think is to go smoke some marijuana and do some cocaine. The effect the marijuana
has in teenagers according to author Dona is the increased hunger, increase heart rate, bloodshot
eyes, and dry mouth. And cocaine affects more the marijuana because cocaine interferes with the
reabsorption process of dopamine, a neurotransmitter or chemical messenger in the brain
associated with pleasure and movement. Physical effects of cocaine use include constricted
peripheral blood vessels, dilated pupils, increased temperature and heart rate (Lopez).
As people know drug can lead teenagers to many bad things, as falling classes in school,
and getting a lot deseases.Now is the time to Stan up for our teenagers, help Americas teenagers
get out of drugs. Because that is our future generation. People need to stop thinking just about
themselves because teenagers are the next big thing on this world. And the teenagers need to
know that they are not alone in this battle; everyone is with them.
