Review the central truth, the memory verse, prayer and confessions,
and read the Bible Story with scripture references indicated under the
power outlets. As this is done each day, let your child color in or put a
sticker on the power outlet located on the back of the devotional. At
the end of the week please sign as proof of completion and return to the
teacher. Children who complete 3 weeks Power Cords in a month will
have their picture posted in the foyer of Power Source and their name in
the newsletter.
When Jesus prayed about the harvest He did not pray these
people will somehow get saved, but that those who already know
Him would have compassion for the lost and tell them of His love
for them.
Matthew 9:38, Pray to the Lord of the harvest to send
laborers into His harvest.

Father God,
Thank you for loving me and taking care of me. Bless my church, Pastor Ron,
and his family. Bless my teachers for teaching me Your Word. I believe your love
is fowing through me to other people. Help me to obey my parents so things
will go well with me and I will live a long life on the earth. I will tell how great
you are and how much I love you. I thank You that by Jesus stripes I am healed.
In Jesus' name,
I will go and make disciples of people everywhere, and will
teach them to obey all God has commanded me. Matthew
I will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon me. Acts
I will give and it shall be given; good measure, pressed down,
shaken together and running over shall it be given back to me.
Luke 6:38
There are lots of causes for us to get involved in likesave
the trees, the whales, the rainforest, or the planet, but God
has given us a more urgent matter. He sends us out like He
sent His disciples to save the world by telling them about our
Savior. The good news is that Jesus came to save us from the
evils of this world. When we have His love and compassion,
we become aware of others need to know Him. Whatever
their immediate needs are, whether money, health or peace;
as Christians we know the one who satisfes all our needs.
