We had participated in the Tender for Repairing and Reconditioning of Sick Transformers and quoted our lowest
rates. In this connection, we wish to submit the following few lines for your kind consideration and favorable orders.

We had quoted lowest rates in 90% of materials (70 item out of 76 Nos.) and our rates are lowest in all labour
charges. Our rates are much lower than our competitors and with small increase in last year price. We learnt that
more than the required quantity is covered at this rate. The difference between our rates and next higher rates are
very huge. We herewith enclose the Comparative Statement in which we had indicated our rates as C.

The tenderer who had quoted lowest rates may please be encouraged so that real competition will be there in future
tenders. If all the participants are invited to match our rates and the quantity is divided, then the spirit of tender
competition will vanish. There is a tendency among the participants particularly in sick transformer repairing
contractors, that they can quote any rate. Whatever the rates, the corporation will ask them to match the L-1 price
and allot the quantity at par with L-1 price or higher quantity.

Any State Government Department or State Government Undertaking, who floats Tender will strictly follow the
Tender Transparency Act as Bible. We are happy to say that your goodself is the Author of Tender Transparency
Act.

Since No. of Suppliers quoted more than the required quantity at very low rate, we may please be encouraged with
orders at our quoted quantity or atleast at 60% of our quoted quantity.
