YEAR EIGHT - SURVIVAL VIDEO RESPONSE

In groups of 2-3 choose ONE of the videos on survival. These videos follow 2 men as they are
stranded in a landscape and have to nd their way out. As they try to survive they give hints and
tips about how to survive in that environment.

Watch the video - you can pause, stop, replay as your need ( it also has a subtitle function you
might nd useful )

Answer the following questions about the video. You need to answer the questions in FULL
sentences and with detail. In total your answers should be around 250 words. Each group
can work on the same answers but you will need to print separate copies for marking.


1. What were some of the dangers they faced and how did they protect themselves against these
dangers.
2. Explain how they were able to nd food and what they ate.
3. Explain how they were able to get shelter and what they used to build it.
4. Explain how they were able to get water and what they needed to do to prepare/nd it.
5. Describe at least 4 tips they gave on how best to survive this environment.
