May 2014, Tiaong, Quezon The Escuderos, owner of Villa
Escudero Plantatons and Resort, a famed Filipino cultural
center, welcomed IHHELP members, Eagle Scouts and youth
volunteers from Utah to their annual Feast of the Ascension.
The members were headed by Rene Doria, president of
IHHELP. Rene Doria was joined by Mr. and Mrs. Hoot Had-
dock, inventors of Thermasave. Rene Doria spoke in a for-
mal gathering about IHHELPs purpose of building disaster
proof homes for the typhoon casualtes of Tacloban. He also
highlighted the Eagle Scouts humanitarian initatve for
Tacloban. The members were well received by the Escude-
ros and other Villa Escudero guests.

IHHELP members, Eagle Scouts, and other volunteers enjoy an exclusive tour of Villa Escudero Planta-
tons and Resort, courtesy of the grandson and granddaughter of Don Conrado Escudero, owner of
the Villa. The tour included a bufalo cart ride and a lunch by the waterfalls.

What is IHHELP?
IHHELP is an organizaton with the vision of being a foundaton of hope and
strength for poor Filipinos by leveling their playing feld & mediatng dis-
parites that they experience in healthcare, housing, educaton & liveli-
hood.
IIHELPP aims to improve peoples lives through health promoton, decent
housing, quality educaton, and sustained livelihood.
IHHELPs focus at the present is to assist in building disaster-proof homes
for the victms of Typhoon Yolanda in Tacloban.
