Task 3: Reflection

Based on this course and the task I have done, there are many things and new
knowledge that I gained and learnt in order to improve and enhance myself to be a goo teacher
towards the new era of education. Firstly, through this course and the task given, I have learnt
about many theories that can be apply during the teaching and learning process or in my own
daily life activities. The theories are Democratic Teaching by Rudolf Dreikurf, Theories of
Instructional anagement by !acob "ounin, Theories of #ongruent #ommunication by $aim
%inott, Building the Foundation by &kinner, 'illiam %lasser, %rodon and Theories of (ssertive
Tactics by )ee and arlene #anter. By learningabout all these theories, I have learnt on how to
manage the classroom effectively in order to promote a conducive classroom environment that
deal for the teaching and learning process to occur.
Besides, I also reali*ed that the roles of the teachers nowadays become more
challenging. It is not talking about the teachers+ roles in the classroom but also to produce the
young generations of the country to become more responsibility and to mould the individuals
with good values. eanwhile, finishing the task in this course teaches me, how difficult for me to
complete the task together with other commitments and I learnt that teaching also is not an easy
task. There are a lots of distractions and challenges that waiting for me in the future as a new
era teacher.
Through this assignment, from my understanding, we are able to develop the skill of the
children. The students will be more active to participate in any activities by giving ideas during
discussion and others. The developments of the students in their participation, giving
ideas,opinions and giving feedback are totally increased. (s conclusion, everyone are e-pected
to participate in a discussion about a certain topic or the freedom to choose what they want to
do in classroom or for tutorial as long as it is related with the topic given.

For this assignment, I had observe an .&) lesson and get to comment on how the
teacher teaching or manages his,her classroom. I also get to see the original management plan
of the class which includes the climate in and outside the class and the teaching and learning
processes. Then, The part where I had to revise the management plan for the class which also
include the climate in and outside the class and the teaching and learning processes. $ere, I got
the chance on how to improvise the original management plan into a better management plan
for the class. Based on the theories that we had learnt, I was able to revise the management

plan for the class. I got too many input to improvise fulfil the empty spaces on my teaching
lesson
Through this course, I also reali*ed that I have learnt so many types of misbehaviours
that can or ever occur in my previous lesson. (s a teacher, I need to be well/prepared by
knowing my pupils backgrounds and also their interest. It can be done by giving them
appropriate solutions to correct their misbehaviours. oreover, I also learnt the skill on how to
control the situations by looking into the main causes and effects of their misbehaviours. I have
learnt that in promoting a good classroom management for teaching and learning to take place,
as a teacher, I need to consider the physical and socio emotional aspects in the classroom.
Teacher should take pupils+ individual differences as each pupil are differs from one another.
Teacher need to fulfil all their needs in the classroom. Thus, the teaching and learning session
can take place smoothly and meaningful.
(s a conclusion, there are many new knowledge and e-periences that I have learnt and
gained through this course. It is very beneficial for me as the teacher and I will practices the
theories and knowledge learnt during my teaching in the future. I believe that by creating a
cohesive, respectful and positive learning environment for the pupils, teacher will be able to
better prepare her or his pupils for life after primary, secondary schooling and after graduated
from university.
