Windham University Announces Credits for Prior Experience

To save time and money of its students and particular the working professionals, Windham University
introduces a special program for such students. Now such students have a chance to translate their
previous work experience into academic credits. In this program student would be awarded academic
documentation for work experience they have. This is definitely a great option for those students who
have years of working experience in a particular field. The two ways to achieve this are:
Credits by Exam:
Windham University conducts a special test. This test is designed to test the students knowledge and
grasp on the subject. The results of these tests prove the command of the student on the subject. Once
the student successfully passes the test, he or she becomes eligible for credits in that particular field or
subject.
Learning Portfolios:
Other than tests students can earn credits by submitting a detailed portfolio that would show that
student understands and grasp on the subject. The faculty of the related School of the University will
evaluate the project and would issue a grade according to the experience.
