Adisa Momoh I will recommend weldolet because that is what I have used over the years. I have
never had of sweepolet. Please can you explain what a sweepolet is to me. Thank you.

Tony Fearn It depends on the diameter of the connection, anything larger than 4" and it would
probably need to be a sweepolet or a reducing tee. What does the specification say?

Octavio Chable Herrera Sweepolet is almost the same thing than a Weldolet...but Sweepolet
comes in biger diameters....I recommend Weldolet...in Pig traps I always have seen These.

Yonghee Kim, P.Eng. I recommend to use weldolet on pig rap nozzle rather than sweeplet which is
used if there is no standard tee that you want.
Conversely sweepolet is best suitbable for very high pressure system or critical piping system.
Hope it helps

Gary Harrison I don't have first-hand knowledge, but have heard on several occasions that
weldolets are very difficult to inspect effectively w/ radiography leading to possible undetected
defects.

Tony Fearn BABAK, I am assuming operating pressure of 75barg, and test pressure of 112.5barg?
