First, a primary student (kinder, if possible)rides a kickboard and holds to one end of a rope while the rest of the members of the group pulls him/her to the other end of the pool. Next, a student holds into a kickboard and swim across the pool and back using his/her feet only. Third, a student does the same, this time by swimming underwater. Unless the student needs to catch his/her breathe, he/she must stop on that spot. He/she can only move once underwater. Fourth, a student rides a floater then paddles across the pool and back to his/her original side. Lastly, a student must swim across and back the pool via backstroke or any form wherein the swimmer is facing the pool side up Additional 2 seconds will be given to teams for each penalty (e.g. In underwater swimming, students moving while taking a breathe is illegal. That swimmer should stop first before continuing. The team with the best time wins. The decision of the game commissioner is final.
Water Fun Games
1 st Station: Bottoms Up One student will dive into the water to release pieces of puzzle/objects place on the pool floor. Once every piece is afloat, two members of each group will jump to the pool and help their teammate retrieve the pieces towards their side by splashing the water. Picking up or merely touching the pieces is not allowed. The rest of the members will arrange the puzzle pieces.
2 nd Station: Soak and Fill Each member in the group will jump to the pool and try filling up a small bucket with water from the clothes that they are wearing.
3 rd Station: Correct Change Prior to this game, coins of different denominations will be scattered on the pool. Each group will draw lots of who will go first and the amount that they will work on. Depending on the amount assigned to them, 3-4 representatives will dive to the pool and retrieve the coins equivalent to the said amount.
4 th Station: Blowing Bubbles A student will attempt to blow a balloon underwater The size of the balloon must reach the allotted size
5 th Station: Tsunami All members will be restricted to one side of the pool. The group must create waves of water to sweep a floating ball to the other side of the pool. The team with the best time wins No team will be allowed to advance to another station until the previous is completed
