Anatomy and Physiology 1
Course Objective:
Every effort should be made in this modern complicated world
to send a well-rounded educated youth out to fill their niche in
society. The study of biology contributes to the general cultural
knowledge of the student. Beyond this, a course in physiology
meets the needs of a more complete understanding of the
basic principles of ones own body and its functions. Those
students interested in a profession such as nursing, physical
therapy, physical education, pharmacy, and public health are
introduced to the concepts upon which further study may
possibly lead to a life's vocation.
Grading
Grades in anatomy and physiology will include
40% Assesments: include but not limited to tests and quizzes, projects, and lab
write up
35% Classwork: in class assignments, discussion and lab completion/participation
