    NTT America offers an International Frame Relay Service that allows for the transfer of variable length frames across wide geographical areas at variable speed classes. The service is provided via permanent virtual circuits (PVCs) between an NTT America designated point-of-presence in the United States and the theoretical midpoint of the communications path. End-to-end service can be provided in conjunction with other carriers and correspondents designated by the customer to allow for simultaneous transmission of US originating and terminating communications. An emergency back-up option is also available using leased line service for pre-approved switchovers to backup routes during emergencies.

    INTERNATIONAL FRAME RELAY

    SERVICE DESCRIPTION

    International Frame Relay Service

    NTT Americas I nternational Frame Relay Service is offered at variable speed classes, and
    is a high speed statistically multiplexed international data private line service that allows
    for the transfer of variable length frames across a wide geographical area. The
    I nternational Frame Relay Service is provided via PVCs, at a Customer determined CI R,
    between an NTT America-designated POP in the United States and the theoretical
    midpoint of the communications path. End-to-end I nternational Frame Relay Service
    may be provided in conjunction with the facilities and services of other carriers and
    Correspondent Carriers designated by the Customer. NTT America-furnished
    Telecommunications Facilities provide for simultaneous transmission of U.S-originating
    and U.S.-terminating communications.



    The following option is also available for Frame Relay Service:
    Emergency Back-up Option (Leased Line service permitting, by Customers prior
    application that is accepted by the Company in writing, switchovers to back-up routes
    during times of emergency).
