Description of how to implement in the class:
The Jane Goodall video from BrainPop will be used to introduce the study of the apes in relation to survival and extinction which is required
by the fourth grade science standard S4L2 to be learned. After watching the video as a whole in class the Teacher will help students stimulate
thought about survival and extinction. She will then split the students into groups of three and some will have the subject of survival and
some will have extinction. The groups of students will then create a model of apes in their environment. They will put themselves in Jane
Goodalls shoes and show how the apes are surviving/vanishing within their environment through a presentation to the class.
