purpose(s)?

The lesson will be summarized by:

- Getting a couple of the students to read out their story extensions.
- Re-asking some questions to make sure they have an understanding of what they
have just read and written.
- Once the students have shown that they have understood the story and finished
writing their extensions, they will be asked to hand in their work and thanked for
working hard and listening to our instructions.

Assessment and evaluation: (How do you know the students have achieved the
learning purpose(s)? Evaluate your own performance)

Whilst the students are doing their work of continuing the short story, I walked around
making sure that they were all on task, using correct sentence structures and helping them
whenever it was needed.
I evaluated their performance by marking their work, seeing if they continued the short story
well using, punctuation, sentence structures and that they wrote at least a paragraph.
With judging my own performance, I feel that I did really well, the students remained on task,
they all contributed to discussion on how we might extend the story and I was always walking
around making sure they were doing what they were supposed to and seeing if they needed
any help.

Assessment and evaluation: (How do you know the students have achieved the learning
purpose(s) Evaluate your own performance)

The student achieved their learning purpose through being able to pin point certain parts of the
documentary and movie that they thought needed questioning. They assessed the information
given during the documentary and movie and then compared them to one another. Their
learning purpose and objective of the lesson was to complete the questions sheet that the
teacher had organized for them.
I felt that my performance was good although could have been better through fully
understanding the information myself e.g. watch the movie and the whole documentary.
